The Maryland Naloxone Project educates medical staff on Take Home Naloxone to ease access for those at high risk of opioid overdose.

Mandated by the Statewide Targeted Overdose Prevention (STOP) Act, hospitals will distribute naloxone at no cost to at-risk patients starting June 30, 2023.

Certified as an Overdose Response Program (ORP), the project facilitates training and no-cost naloxone shipments to hospitals.
